At Johnson Fellows, we know that the future of the property industry depends on the talent we nurture today. That’s why we’re pleased to announce the launch of our Assistant Surveyor Apprenticeship Programme.
Based in Birmingham, we’re looking for two degree apprentices to join our team and start building a career in commercial property.
Our apprenticeship programme blends structured learning with practical, on-the-job experience, to give aspiring property professionals the knowledge, qualifications and confidence to build a career in property and surveying.
The successful apprentices will rotate through various property sector specialisms within the firm, including lease advisory, property management and valuation, whilst receiving invaluable mentorship from the company’s partners – all while studying part-time towards a RICS-accredited degree in Real Estate.
Apprentices will assist with preparing rental valuations, lease advisory projects and property inspections, while developing skills in managing property portfolios and liaising with landlords, tenants and contractors across the retail, industrial and office sectors.
Paul Milsom, Joint Senior Partner at Johnson Fellows, said: “Our apprenticeship programme will provide two budding chartered surveyors with the opportunity to earn while they learn, while receiving all the skills, guidance and opportunities they need to build a successful career in the property sector.
“We’re really proud to be playing our part in addressing the skills gap, helping to shape the next generation of industry leaders, and are looking forward to seeing what talent is out there.”
Our apprentice programme is a varied, challenging and highly rewarding introduction to the property world to help inspire long and successful careers.
Applications can be submitted via www.johnsonfellows.co.uk/careers or send your CV to apprenticeships@johnsonfellows.co.uk. The closing date is Friday 20th February 2026.
