Are you ambitious, motivated, and ready to launch a career in commercial property? Johnson Fellows is looking for a driven individual to join our Birmingham office as an Assistant Surveyor – Apprentice.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a school leaver or early career starter to gain hands-on experience in the property sector while studying towards a RICS-accredited degree in Real Estate. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals, contributing to real projects and building the foundations for a successful career in surveying.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

As part of our team, you’ll support surveyors in:

• Lease advisory projects, and property inspections
• Assisting with client reports, market research, and data analysis
• Managing property portfolios and liaising with landlords, tenants, and contractors
• Contributing to projects across retail, industrial, and office sectors
• Attending university part-time while applying your learning in a professional setting

WHAT YOU NEED TO APPLY:

• A genuine interest in property, surveying, or real estate
• Minimum of 5 GCSEs including Maths and English (Grade C/4 or above)
• A-Level or Level 3 qualifications (96 UCAS Tariff points)
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Willingness to commit to academic study alongside work
• Previous work experience or exposure to the property sector is a plus
