The UK’s largest independent lift company, Jackson Lifts, is expanding its operations with a move to new premises in Tamworth.
The family-owned business, which was established in 1979, provides maintenance services for lifts, escalators and cradles to customers nationwide. As part of its continued growth, the company has acquired new offices at Lichfield Road Industrial Estate in Tamworth.
Jackson Lifts has purchased Unit C in the Meltex House complex for £453,000. The 4,515 sq ft property is arranged over two floors and provides the company with additional space to support its ongoing growth. The deal was brokered by Mark Fitzpatrick in our agency team, who acted on behalf of the seller.
Mark said: “We’re pleased to have secured the sale of Unit C at Meltex House to Jackson Lifts. The property offered the ideal space and flexibility the company needed to support its next phase of growth, while its location is an excellent central base to serve its nationwide customer base.”
Philip Rudd, Board Director at Jackson Lift Group, said: “We are delighted to have acquired our new Tamworth office as part of our continued investment in the Midlands. Having operated from our current Lichfield premises since 1995, the move represents an exciting new chapter for Jackson and provides the additional space and facilities needed to support our future growth.
“The new facility provides a strong platform for the next stage of our planned growth, allowing us to continue supporting our existing national and local customers while developing new opportunities across the region. It’s another positive step for Jackson and demonstrates our commitment to continuing to invest in our people, our facilities and the long term growth of the business.”
