There is often a big focus by surveying practices to act purely on behalf of landlords.

At Johnson Fellows’ new Industrial & Logistics department we’ve decided instead to provide services for occupiers – the very people driving business growth.

The department, which launched in May 2012, is led by Mike Price who has a track record of representing occupiers, making sure that they get the best possible deals for their businesses.

Mike said: “Johnson Fellows has a very strong retail client base which gives us an opportunity to talk to them about their big and small shed requirements, and distribution needs.

“While most surveyors act for the landlords, I’ll be acting for the guys on the other side of the fence. After all, these are the people filling the vacant spaces and growing the economy, so we need to make sure they are getting the right market deals.”

During his career Mike has acted on some of the West Midlands’ most notable schemes and transactions, offering a wealth of experience to develop this new service into a regionally important team.
