Andrew Rowson of Johnson Fellows Building Consultancy team is a member of a Much Wenlock Shoot in Shropshire and invited fellow partner, Anthony Foster, as a guest to join him at a recent shoot. The shoot at this partcularly venue is normally a ’50 bird day’ but they only managed to shoot 41 between 9 guns on 4th January 2014. “Nevermind plenty more shooting to be done between now and the end of the season”, said Andrew.
The game shooting season for the Much Wenlock Shoot starts in November and finishes on the 1 February where the shoot accrued 485 birds last season and are predicting around 525 birds this season.
